Welcome to the Institute of Transformance!

We are a nucleus of arts-educators and cultural activists who work locally, internationally and globally from within Brazil's diverse communities. We apply artistic languages as pedagogic tools inside all social spaces, transforming them into intimate theatres of cultural literacy and intervention to contribute to the 'formation' of young people, democratic communities and transformative professionals. As our name affirms, the founding principle of our Institute is to learn to read and to perform social transformation!

Our Institute offers presentations, workshops, courses, project collaborations and pamphlets, books and exhibitions about this work. We hope you find what you are looking for. The site in still in construction. We hope to have french, spanish and portuguese versions available in 2009.
