2009
The institute has just won a national award in Brazil to collaborate with a community in the northern state of Para between January-August on a project entitled 'where rivers meet'. We will also be training teachers and young people in cultural literacy techniques and producing a collective publication with 50 teachers, from the same region. After the World Social Forum, we will be building on 3 years of collaborations with artists, teachers and community activists in Hong Kong, developing preparations for the IDEA 2010 world congress in Belem, Brazil.
